Question: I placed some formal gardens behind my village hall but I can't click on them. Anything I can do to select them?

Answer: Yes! Click on a building in your village and press the TAB key, this will cycle you to the next building, according to the order in which they were built.  To reverse cycle, hold down the SHIFT key and press the TAB key.

 

We are unable to modify, revert, reset, or restore any attributes of villages, parishes, or castles.  Please be careful when converting or abandoning a village!

This is because your villagers are eating more of this type of food than you can produce at the moment. If you look at the detailed rations information you should see how much food is Eaten per Day and how much food is Made per Day.

Since your villagers eat all food types in equal amounts you need to make enough of each food type to have it count towards your food bonus and for it to show in the granary.   For example if your villagers  are eating 9000 food a day and you are feeding them 3 types of food you will need to have 3000 of each made per day minimum for it to show up.  

Fishing jetties require either a 'River 1' or 'River 2' type village, before they can be placed into that village type on the water.
This village type can either be purchased by buying a new village or by converting your current village to a River based one.
You would need the correct level of rank 12, Alderman before you can buy an additional village, along with the correct amount of gold and a captain to purchase one.

In order to purchase a 2nd village you would need to reach Rank 12 (Alderman), have researched Leadership 1,  and have the gold available to buy the village, along with a captain. You cannot buy a village without a captain, who is created by researching: Military, Leadership, Captains.

You can buy more villages later as your rank increases and you research further levels of Leadership.

The abandon option can only be used once per week.

To queue research, move buildings and queue buildings requires a Premium token in play, if you were able to do this before, the Premium token you purchased may have expired.

Issue -

 

Vineyards (wine building) require a 'Valley Side'  type village before they can be placed.
This village type can either be purchased by buying a new village or by converting your current village to a Valley Side village.
You would need the correct level of rank 12, Alderman before you can buy an additional village, along with the correct amount of gold and a captain to purchase one.

The first village you will own when playing stronghold kingdoms will have a pre-placed stockpile or granary. When you purchase a new village is bought these will not be pre-placed.   You will need to place these buildings before any resources or food are made available to you. 

 

The stockpile and granary will need to be placed before you send any goods to this village. 

One of the ways to gain extra villages is to capture them from other players.

If you only have one village and it is captured, you will be automatically given a new starting village with the same stockpile and granary goods that you got when starting the game. You keep all research and gold that you have acquired.  This allows you to quickly rebuild your village.

Salt flats require a 'Salt Flats’ type of village before this building can be placed.

Ale production requires 2 buildings, a Brewery to produce ale and an Inn to store ale.

To be able to build an Inn you will need to research Hops Farming.

Once researched the Inn will be available within the Food buildings tab in the village screen.

Village icons grow as your village grows.  The more buildings you place the larger the size of your village icon on the map.

Silk docks require a 'River 2’ type of village.  This village type can either be purchased by buying a new village or by converting your current village to a River 2 village.

You need to be rank 12 (Alderman) before you can buy an additional village, along with the correct amount of gold and a captain.

Before goods can be sent from one of your current villages to a new village, you must have the correct storage buildings for the goods placed. If merchants are sent with resources to the new village before a Stockpile, Granary, and Inn are placed, these resources will be lost.
